Dance of Castaways
I made a list of problems I’ve got: 1.I’m on my own, and I’ve got no clue where to find some people. 2.People are important, sure, but I’ve gotta be careful ‘cause anyone I meet could be infected. 3.A dead body shouldn’t just be lying around for more than three days without a fridge—so I need to get Grandma Kalabi to Desná and bury her by then. 4.I need to find a car, but I’m not sure I can learn how to drive in just three days. 5.If I manage to drive, I’d better make a map to figure out the route and avoid spots where they might catch me and lock me up in a containment station. Containment station = game over—I can’t let that happen. 6.I need to get my hands on a coffin.

Mojmir has just finished his apprenticeship, he's eighteen, and he's used to city life. But then a deadly pandemic strikes, and everything falls apart for him – just like it does for seventeen-year-old dancer Jesika, who has to give up her dream career in a musical. If it weren’t for the deadly EBS virus, their paths would never have crossed. Jesika learns to live without the stage, and Mojmír has to pick up a rifle to survive. The world they knew no longer exists. Dance of Castaways portrays dramatic life twists, the struggle against prejudice, and the protagonists' battle with their own fears in a time when the world has lost all its certainties, and everyone has to look out for themselves. Even in such times – or maybe especially in them – deep feelings can arise.
