A Prague night and the death of an inconvenient journalist open the dramatic story that takes place over the course of a single week, just before the European Parliament elections.
The investigation into the case crosses paths with the disappearance of three students.

They are eighteen to twenty years old and don’t accept compromises. Martin, Richard, and Levan. Their sudden disappearance is hard to explain. Could they be sleeping somewhere after a party? Did they set off on a trip? Were they kidnapped?
The real drama comes with the revelation that the boys have radicalized and repeatedly undergone voluntary military training. Now, they’re heading somewhere into a war zone.

What does the demonstrative departure of three young people from the safety of their home in the middle of Europe to one of the many battlefields of the contemporary world mean? A desire for adventure? A need to turn the virtual world of computer games into reality? And is their home really safe?
They are being searched for by the police, their parents, classmates, and friends...

The central character of the series is government official Štěpán Chytil, a candidate for a seat in the European Parliament, and the father of one of the missing boys. Richard’s discovery that his "perfect daddy" has a carefully hidden compromising episode from the Soviet era is one of the motivations for his escape. He sees his father’s lies and hypocrisy in the same way he sees the lies and hypocrisy of the society in which he lives, a society that is far from words to action.
The death of Richard’s friend is the proverbial last straw that leads to his decision to leave and finally prove something...

In his mature years, Štěpán Chytil gets a chance to right the wrong he committed in his youth, and whose consequences still haunt him. But will he be able to seize this opportunity?

In the political thriller "Uncompromising", the attitudes of adults and their adolescent children collide.

History is in motion, so the story does not only touch on the current political situation in the Czech Republic but also reflects the overall tone of our turbulent times.

The intense story follows the fates of people from today’s Czech present who are neither demonic nor angelic, but whose lives have been shaken by sudden events. Their lives take a different direction – tragic, but also cleansing.
